Is Starman Digi-Tv good enough for 40'' LCD?

Hi guys,
i'm on the way of changing my old 21 CRT for a new Sony LCD D3000 series, but still can't decide whether i should go for a 32'' or 40''panel, cause i have only 2,5m distance and i know it can be too close for 40'' if the SD picture lacks quality. But on the other hand i'm also going to buy a PS3, so the DVD, Blu-Ray moview and games will be just fine fo that size. Please help me choose the right one. Is there anyone who owns LCD >= 40'' + Starman DigiTv? How is that from a 2.5m? (I know it depends on the TV model but anyway )

Which Starman Digi-TV ? Digital Cable TV (DVB-C) is quite OK. Starman Terrestrial (DVB-T) is not so good There is a hope that it will be improved in the future.

that's disappointing however Sony claims that D3000 series has improvements for SD quality, but it can't be examined until i take it home 'cause e.g. euronics has signal splitted for over 30 tv sets and obviously it's too bad

hmm.. it's a bit complicated for me since I'm newbie for all that dish antennes, satellite receivers, access cards etc.. + I can't use NTV Plus legally in Estonia, can I?

I have a DVB-C and hope that it would be even better than now because Sony D3000 has a built-in DVB-C tuner
