seltsimees kirjutas:enigma2 masinal toimib hästi (v.a. HD kanalid) vanal 7020 masinaga ei saanud mu ipadilt küll ühendust üles. Nii et kui enigma 1 masin kodus siis pole mõtet raha kulutada kui just pole jailbreaki ipadile peale aetud ja app "ilma" käes on.

System Requirements

· iPad 2, iPad, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4th generation or better
· iOS 4.0 or better
· Any Dreambox or other device running Enigma 2
· WiFi-connection between both devices with 802.11n

With Limitations:
· iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3rd generation (low quality mode only)
· WiFi-connection with just 802.11g (highly dependent on the environment; no recordings; low quality mode recommended)

Unofficial supported: (by users as compatible reported)
· Topfield 7700 HDPVR, Ipbox 900 (with Enigma 2) and QBoxHD.

NOT supported at this time:
· iPhone 3G, iPhone 2G, iPod Touch 2nd generation or lower
· Dreamboxes with Enigma 1 (e.g. DM7000, DM600, DM500, …)
· Internet streaming (possible, but not recommended)
· Any other Set-Top-Box

I like to inform you that the update 1.4 is finally planned for end of the next week. Stay tunded for future details.
Update 1.4 (>= 13 May):
- Basic Enigma 1 support
- Something special
Preview of Update 1.5 (>= June):
- Improved Enigma 1 support
- Sleeptimer
- Subchannels
- Quickzap

The shuttering could come from some heavy format like mpeg4. You could try a different quality mode, but I think that your iPad/iPhone just can't handle it right.

Hotfix 1.4.1 coming next week

The newest version implements a status code check for every request. The old web interface version 1.5 and lower is missing the “serviceplayable” command, which currently prevents the app from zapping (“Connection failed”). I will publish a hotfix next week, sorry for any inconvenience.
If you don’t want to wait, you can update your dreambox over the selfupdater (depending on the distribution), or you install a newer image from 2010/2011.
You can find your web interface version in the web interface under “Extras => Device Info”.
Also a minor bug that the EPG is shifted when using markers on Enigma 2 will be fixed with this update.
This are currently no other known new issues.

Update 1.4 now available

Good news everyone! Apple just approved the all new update 1.4 which should be available worldwide within the next 2 hours.
Please note that you have to re enter your settings. You maybe want to write them down before updating. If you have any problems aver updating, please uninstall the app and then install it fresh from the App Store (reinstalling is free).
As for every new update, there could be some minor bugs and so far unknown compabiltiy issues. I will list known bugs and issues in the support section and release a version 1.4.1 shortly if neccessary.
Changelog of update 1.4:
- Support for Enigma 1 devices (e.g. DM7000, DM7020, DM500, DM600)
- Updated user manual
- Less RAM usage
- Better looking icon
There will be a few limitations when using an Enigma 1 device:
- Currently no EPG in the bouquet list
- Currently no progress indicator
- No time jumping for recordings (technically sadly not possible)
Update (13 May 2011)
Just to clarify, there is no need to forward any ports, because the app still dosen’t work over the internet. Especially not with Engima 1, because the streams are local referenced.
